While I was born in St. Louis, I have always considered North Carolina home. I moved to Chapel Hill when I was seven and went to school in both Chapel Hill and Durham. Upon receiving my Master of Healthcare Administration from UNC-CH, I embarked on a career focused on senior housing. After a decade of working as the Director of Marketing for top senior living communities, I decided to start my own company working as an independent consultant. Working directly with seniors and their families, I helped them navigate through the numerous senior housing options so that they could find the perfect home that fit both their personal and financial requirements.
One day, as I was helping a client prepare for a move to a retirement community, she asked me if I could help her sell her house. It was one of those aha moments that made perfect sense! Providing full-service real estate consulting was a natural progression in the customizable services that I offer my clients. More importantly to me, I could keep my priority of helping families and combine it with my unique knowledge of housing in the Triangle area.
Being active in my community is important to me. I have two wonderful kids and have been a volunteer in their schools since they were in elementary school. I am also a past member of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and currently serve on Adelaide Walters Apartments Board of Directors. They provide affordable housing for seniors in our community. Through my community involvement I have met a lot of wonderful people who have trusted me to help them with their new home search. While I am still very active in the senior living industry I put my community knowledge to work for buyers of all ages.
